An appraiser is an expert whose profession is responsible for conducting a qualified assessment of property transactions, calculating the real value of property rights to tangible assets: shares, housing, land, motor transport and other types of tangible assets. An evaluation report is compiled based on the results of the assessment.

Appraisers work in insurance and outsourcing companies and specialized bureaus.
